Learn 2 driving game. Turn off the driving assists except maybe traction contol, thats why all the cars feel the same. stop throwing the stick around from lock to lock, thats why you are breaking traction in the corners. the throttle and brake are analog, use them that way. awds dont follow magic lines carved into the track, they understeer. use the left bumper to manually shift into reverse if you hit something, and manually shift again into first after you back up. try tuning your suspension. a fwd car will need a different setup than a rwd, the stock settings are pretty useless.

pretty basic stuff. if you dont want to put any effort in, you can keep all the driving assists on and it will play something like PGR or any other arcade game. you can go plowing around in something that feels like a hovercraft, bouncing off walls and using the opponents to slow you down in corners. otherwise if you take the time to set up your car right, it's a pretty sweet game.
