<![CDATA[Alright anime nerds... tonight, 7:30]]>The US adaptation of the Eureka-7 movie is playing at Century 10 at 7:30. It is playing across the entire US tonight and tonight @ 7:30 is the only announced show date.

When I picked up my ticket a few minutes ago, they had already presold 13 tickets, so you may want to show up 15-30 seconds ahead of showtime to get a good seat 🙂

What is Eureka 7 about? Why, it's a teenage love story about pilots of giant robots... robots that fly on energy surf boards. \m/ \m/

If any of you sallies are man enough to watch children's cartoons from japan, I'll see you there in about an hour 🙂

Yes, Gurren Lagaan kicks ass, one of my favorite mecha series of all time. I also like some of the good ol' standards like Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, The entire Ghost in the Shell Series(all movies included) and Trigun as well as Airmaster and Queens Blade. The last two are new to me and were very good, Queens Blade is more adult oriented, not hentai though, with bouncy naked boobs and panty shots a.k.a. fan service.:D

OK, on to the Evangelion. The new reboot, so to speak, of Evangelion is going to be done in 5 parts and adds new elements to the original story as well as moving it along a bit quicker.

Also a huge fan of Gurren Lagaan [and same story there... I end up liking the OP/ED of a show and it ends up in the car..]

I watched all of the old Macross series. The original SDF Macross was a kick ass show also. Kind of like "roots" for robot show nerds 🙂

I haven't ever watched any Gundam or Eva, actually. My favorite mecha series of all time is actually Full Metal Panic! Teddy Bear w/ Shotgun FTW.
