The general idea was to get a bunch of us together and cruise from town to town across ND. Ideally we'd start in Fargo and cruise to Valley City, Jamestown and then stay the night in Bismarck the first day. The next day would be a cruise from Bismarck to Dickinson to Williston to Minot. The final day would be Minot to Rugby to Devils Lake to Grandforks to Fargo.

Another option would be instead of the extreme western portion we make it a 2 day run and go Fargo-VC-Jamestown-Bismarck the first day and then Bismark-Minot-Grand Forks-Fargo the second day.

What does everyone think of this idea and when do you think would be a good time to do it? I'd say preferably in July sometime...on a weekend w/ no races of course.

i just did a little more reading, i was always under the impression that closed loop meant that the ecu would use a set amount of fuel based on temperature and rpm (hence the "closed," ignores any sensors). whereas open loop utilizes all the sensors to maintain proper operation. but... apparently the o2 use is the opposite of what i'd thought.
thanks joel, i'd never really bothered educating myself in this particular material
Think of it as an open (or closed) circuit. Open circuit=no current flow. closed circuit..well you get the idea. I wouldn't know this, but Mr. Miller, my auto teacher, pounded this into our heads because some idiot in my class slept through o2 sensors. he got hit with a yardstick!

no o2 sensor means you are always running in open loop. the computer richens it up so u dont run hardcore lean and fuck something up.
