<![CDATA[Turbo GSXR-1000]]>Not sure if I'm early or late with this thread. We've started on the bike, but it won't be finished 'til late winter/early spring.

The plan is to build the first turbo sportbike in the area, and be the first 8 second streetbike in the area as well.

The bike is a 2008 GSXR-1000. On a stock motor with bolt-ons, the bike has been in the 9.50's.

The bike will be built with parts/service from:

 -Orient Express - motor internals 
 -Velocity Racing - turbo system 
 -McIntosh Machine & Fabrication - swingarm
 -Laske Fabrication - metal fabrication 
 -Solid Performance - assembly & tuning
 -Tintmasters - various pieces/accessories

A few weeks ago the motor was pulled and these were installed.
Cometic headgasket. Head studs/nuts, manual cam chain tensioner and valve springs from Orient Express.

Forks internally lowered by Chuck at Solid Performance. (lowered fork on top vs. stock length fork)

The bike made 170 HP in its previous state (Brock's pipe, PC3, tune).

This bike should be on the street regularly.
