I barely even watch tv anyways, hence the dvr so I can watch the few shows I want. If my damn bill would stop going up i couldn't care but damn, it goes up a little ever month, like 30 buck in the last year and a half.</p>

It won't cost us or the customer more to do it this way and according to the 3 networking places we've consulted (since we don't provide the phone systems or end user hardware really) it shouldn't require any additional hardware on their end either...and all three of them seemed to think it was a great solution.  IDK, I'm just the idiot that gets to sell it, I have an office full of geeks to tell me how it will work.</p>

<p dir="auto">Why bother then?  The entire point of QoS is to prioritize one form of traffic over another, whether it's Voice, Video, or Data.  Incurring 2x the charge in loop, etc is ridiculous when it could be delivered over a single connection.</p>

<p dir="auto">Forgot to mention during this post that yes, we do PRI's, we have multiple businesses in town doing just that.</p>

<p dir="auto">Actually, they don't 'really' have a 3MB service.  They bumped the 3MB to 5MB for the same price - but you have to actually tell them you want the 5MB service (they won't automatically bump you).  I found this out (and switched) when I moved down to Osgood this summer.</p>
<p dir="auto">And yes, they still have the bandwidth limits...</p>

If so, get Midco in Moorhead.  We really can't compete there yet...though it sounds like we will be pulling fiber for Concordia and MSUM in the next year...once we are across the river w/ our own facilities we should start expanding rapidly.</p>
