The thing I can say about Dorgan.. everytime i contacted his office about something, he got back to me. Better than "my" reps when I lived in Washington.. or "my" state reps here in Fargo.

I don't know that he would have lost, but it certainly would have been a close race and probably turned into a bash fest IF Hoeven had chosen to run.

Right now if/when Hoeven announces his candidacy, I will be throwing my support behind him, pretty much regardless of who runs against him (unless I get the call to run against him....not holding my breath, lol)
