I normally fish Devils Lake or Lake of the Woods, but I'm looking for something I can drive to relatively quickly and fish for a bit with my son.  Prefer ND, as I don't have my MN license this year (yet)</p>

Middle isn't bad if you just like to catch fish, you'll find a shit ton of larger Bluegills/Pumpkin Seeds, but again I've never fished there in the winter. It takes me 25-30mins to get there in traffic.</p>
