<![CDATA[6.5&quot; speakers]]>I'm getting the '65 mustang back today, hopefully fully fixed. A future project in the planning stage is upgrading the sound system. It currently just has an old alpine head unit and alpine type S 6x9 speakers in the back. And that is it. I think the head unit will suffice for a bit, but I want to add some 6.5" speakers into the kick panels. Any suggestions? and I'm sure that someone will say to ask chuck. I'm looking for something to add a bit of sound and mid/bass to the front. I'm limited to about 3" of depth and somewhere around $60-90. I don't need something phenomenal.

$60 to $90 will be your biggest limiting factor, not depth. I will check and see what I can get for you though.
