This axe is loaded with Fender Super Bass strings, and sporting a Badass II bridge with vintage-style pick-ups. I have played American, Japanese, and Mexican Fenders, and I have a hard time telling the difference (with the exception of the onboard preamp in the US made). This guitar was made in Mexico; the neck is maple with a walnut strip, (unless my memory is faulty), and the body is alder. I also have a Geddy Lee signature bass, and they both have very similar sounds.

I've had it for several years, and it's been a solid piece of equipment, but I'm thinning the herd to make room for something else. The price is $500. Contact me at 7012619879 if you would like to come see it or have questions.

I don't think you're going to be able to sell an older used Mexi for $500. I got my Jazz used in mint condition for $240.
