yes it would "void" the warranty. But the exhaust you have technically voids it too. The nice thing about the Utec is that it is plug and play. so if you have any issues with the car it takes about 20 minutes to remove it. You can do the Cobb Access port. That just reflashes the ECU and then you can "un-flash" it if you want it back to stock. But it does not have the same power/drivability options as the UTec. But is a very nice upgrade. The Utec is super user friendly. It works from any lap top/PC. It uses the hyper terminal program. So you never have to have a disk or anything. Plus it is plug and play. No wiring at all. I have had mine for 2 years. No issues. Chuck loves his. And we always sell the hell out of them. Everyone loves them. Plug it in for 35+ hp and have the option to retune for any mod you do to the car. Buy the Tuner that links to the Utec. and you basically have a rolling dyno in your car. PIMP!!!

I will second this, it is SUPER easy to install and if you get the Tuner w/ it you can do road tunes once you get the hang of tuning (I can give you a hand now...I think I got it figured out...20 hours on the dyno has that affect on ya, LOL).

You will be hard pressed to find a better piggyback ECU anywhere...for that matter it might be hard to find a more user friendly aftermarket ECU anywhere, piggy back or not. In other words...DO IT!!!
