I ordered a grille for my dodge ram, and it came broken. So I sent it filed a claim with ups and they sent it back to the company for a replacement. Fast forward 2 weeks, I have still not received my grille, so I track the order online, and it says it got delivered to a house in Pen. The company is located in CA, and I am in SD, there was no reason why it should be in Pen. So today I called UPS and they said they said that it was signed for by someone named FLANGO, I proceeded to tell them that I dont live in Pen and do not know a FlANGO. The guy I am talking to, who is very helpful by the way, says he is going to see whats going on and why it got sent there. So then he opens up the file some more and says that the company denied my claim, but he said he would reopen the case and try to get me a new one. I then asked him what if they deny it again, and he said, that is as far as they can go. So what happens then? Did just get fucked by this company because they do not know how to package a grille. The box it self was undamaged and the grille was wrapped in some thin see through plastic and one piece of foam, nothing on the ends of where it got cracked. I have tried calling this company many many times and they never answer, goes to voicemail, I leave a voicemail, they never call back, and everytime I have called, it has been in their business hours. I am furious about this right now, I am contemplating talking to my lawyer, not because of the $114 grille, because of the principle of the matter.

Sucks about the Mastercard.

They will issue you a credit for that amount and they will contact the merchant and file a claim. If it happens x amount of times Visa will take away their ability to use their services. The credit is only a provisional credit though. Meaning if, somehow, the merchant is in the clear and did their end of the deal and provided the proof that they are at no fault, the charge will come back on the account. Be sure that you do it 90 days after it shows on your account/statement, otherwise you do not have disputing rights.

Mastercard on the other hand will make you jump through a million hoops.

I talked to the same guy from UPS tonight and he said that he will reopen the claim and start a investigation on the issue. I suppose if that doesnt work I will contact the credit card company.

Contact your card company and tell them your issue and they will probably issue a charge back. That will get the company's attention, and if it doesn't at least you'll have your money back.
