I know everything up there is basically owned by Goldmark and some of you have had problems with them as well, but there isnt many other options for a quality building. Basically anywhere in the metro area is fine. Lets hear it!

heard nothing but good things about Prarie Property Management. I can attest that the majority of Goldmark apartments I have lived in were managed very poorly.

Managed by JM rentals, rents a little high so I haven't seen any jawas yet but there is always one or two. They have two properties just south of the softball diamonds in between 42nd and 45th, one is Stoney Brook I think and I'm in Woodstone. The only thing I pay for is electricity, and cable if I wanted it, internet is free, and there is a washer and dryer in every unit and everyone gets a big 2 stall garage.

I was in Amber Valley over by Pracs and my only gripe with that area was getting in and out of the area in the winter. I think those were cheaper than Central Park when I was looking.
I moved down to Osgood (also managed by PRG) to get a 2 stall with a 1 bedroom. Apartment is a little rougher than AV but otherwise no real complaints.

PRG was always the cheapest of the newer apartments when I looked.

Just get a professional cleaning company clean your place and you'll get your deposit back. They aren't impossible to deal with, you just have to be damn near perfect. It sucks living there after you put your notice in tho, they will call you once, knock once, and walk in. Not real convenient when you're fucking.

There are plenty of properties across fargo that arent managed by goldmark. I have rented from Valley rental and did like them, Alerus financial was alright to rent from as well, but i dont think they do property management anymore. My friends have rented from Skaff and liked them as well. If you find a place with a 99 dollar deposit be prepared that more than likely you wont get it back. And if the apartment is behind the kmart area, stay away, its pretty "dark" and plenty of crime back there.
