<p dir="auto">a quick check on American Muscle - the 17x8 wheels are +30mm offset so basically look at a picture of one of those and then suck the face of the wheel in another half inch.</p>
<p dir="auto">As for bolt pattern - should be 5x4.5" or 5x114.3mm.  If it's anything but that, do not use them.  There is at least one bolt pattern that is close and the wheel will slide on but it won't bolt down correctly.</p>

at +40 offset they'd probably fit but in my opinion it'll look horrible.</p>

Offset itself has no bearing on tire fitment. Offset in combination of overall tire diameter could have an effect on actual VEHICLE fitment though. What exactly are you trying to make fit on what vehicle?</p>
