There may have been a revised pulley and belt for the early Aerio's. Don't use belt dressing....it's only a temp fix and usually slings crap all over your engine bay.

More than likely, with a 2002 model......just get a belt. If it has more than 3 cracks per inch...it's time. Not only does a cracked belt not hold as well, it also dries out after time. Making it squeal.

It wasn't designed for a flat belt. Second, if the belt is squealing, then it may be an accesory pulley or an idler/tensioner pulley. Remove the belt and check all pulleys for roughness or excessive play. I've seen many belts (even serpentine belts) squeal. But it is usually caused by a bad pulley or bearing.

(only slip when people try to make boost with the blowers)

(and when you asked me I didn't realize it was on a different car.. thought it was the blazer and we just replaced that not that long ago.)
...but, maybe it is the belt.. dunno.

when does it squeal.. idle or under load?

if it's at idle OR under load, I would be leary of an accessory bearing going out (or idler/tensioner).
if it's only under load, could possibly be the belt I guess.

What I'd do if if were me is pull the belt off the motor and turn the accessories by hand. If it's an accessory/idler/tensioner issue it would very likely make it's self apparent then.
