<p dir="auto">I tow rather heavy at times, and with my current larger single i get surge at lower RPM when i try to use any power.......that pisses me off......</p>
<p dir="auto">it is great above 70mph, i can cool and run 45psi continous thenEGTs run a little high for my liking too when towing not under full power.... it just sits at 1100-1200* whether i am at 10psi or 45psi</p>
<p dir="auto">so i am doing a smaller set of twins, should be VERY responsive, and tow like a mother at any speed</p>
<p dir="auto">current turbo i have been running is a BW s300, 65mm billet Ti compressor, 67mm turbine, 14cm wastegated housing.....</p>
<p dir="auto">i will carry that over to be my primary (almost identical to the BD super B special)</p>
<p dir="auto">secondary is a holset he341, it is off the 03-04.5 CR dodges.... smallest turbo ever outfitted on the dodges....</p>
<p dir="auto">so first thing.... dont buy crappy studs as i learned on a budies VGT setup..... so i went to JD and ordered exactly what i wanted in grade 8 <img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-17_09-20-51_533.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">what a stock 341 looks like<img src="http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii103/5bravo9/GEDC0289.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">first thing is to open that WG up, it is critical since this will be bypassing exhaust around the secondary turbine<br />
<img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-09-15_17-44-44_991.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-09-15_18-33-22_984.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-09-15_18-34-13_929.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" />....</p>
<p dir="auto">hotside stuff is sch. 40 3".... and a heavy flange from buddies downpipe he didnt need<br />
<img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-15_15-43-14_718.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">and how to go from round to square with heavy wall....<br />
<img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-19_08-20-30_187.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-19_08-26-51_39.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-21_08-12-26_823.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-10-22_17-38-03_203.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" />...</p>
<p dir="auto">I tig'd it so it should be strong, will add a brace to support the turbo from the block aswell<br />
<img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2011-11-13_14-06-05_94.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" />...</p>
<p dir="auto">modded 341 compressor cover<br />

<p dir="auto">I am interested and excited to see how they act, will have more pics</p>

(again)</p>
<p dir="auto">he got me a new turbo my hands in a week! great, just great</p>
<p dir="auto">I traded my 64/68/14 for a new 66/73/.91 from dave</p>
<p dir="auto">i felt i just needed some more turbine on the primary because drive pressure stayed nice and around 1:1 until i started adding fuel then it made a nice uphill</p>
<p dir="auto">with the new turbo I cant imagine it working any better, boost is instant, and it builds and holds 53psi of boost with 54psi of drive pressure. Moves out very nicely, and it tows like a N14 now</p>
<p dir="auto">I cannot get it to surge no matter what i try, I should of done this much sooner</p>
<p dir="auto">here you can see the difference in the 68 and 73 turbine, the 73 looks much easier flowing, with a clip cast or cut into it</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2012-01-12_17-30-44_38.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">also i had to change the hotpipe up some for a T4 flange, i got an extended flange and man that was slick for making an easy to remove and install brace. I feel it turned out fantastic</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s167/rotary1307cc/2012-01-12_21-26-45_954.jpg" alt="legacy image" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
