I wanted to post a thread with a reminder about some of the new and old saftey requirements.

If you run 9.99 or faster and/or 135MPH, you must have a NHRA competition License (135MPH rule not aplicable for Bikes/Sleds)
If you are going for your license, you must have a physical completed BEFORE you come to the track to make your runs.

Forms for physical and license can be found and printed here - http://www.topenddragways.com/NHRAforms.html

Also for motorycle and snowmobile racers, if you are making runs that are 120MPH or faster. You must have leather pants and those pants must zip to your leather jacket with a metal zipper that goes 360 degrees around the waist.

Also helmets must have a Snell 2005 or 2010 sticker.
Any motorcyles running must wear leather jacket, leather gloves, and boots.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me at the track office

I personally (and know a few others) go to that 7-Day clinic and have it done. But call ahead and make sure a Dr. is actually there. Alot of times they have PA's there and say they can do it but if a PA signs the physical it will get sent back to you.

I usually go to the "Urgent Care" places because they get you in/out quickly.
