Do the 6"x6" mounting plates have to sit flat or can I bend them at a 90 degree angle? If not, the rear hoop will be welded to the very outer edge of the plate. Or can I bend that for more weld support and weld another 6"x6" plate under the half that still lies flat? I need to make sure this thing is NHRA legal and I dont have the book yet. Let me know on here or call or text 701-541-1876. Thanks guys!</p>
