I just avoid carrington (sorta). Take I94 to Hwy 1 North (Rogers Exit). Go straight til you get to the Cooperstown intersection. Go west (I forget the hwy name) through Carrington continue on 52 west of Carrington until you get to minot (through Fessenden, Harvey, Martin, Annamoose, Drake, Velva, until you get to minot)
