<![CDATA[cops do suck]]>so here is the story . there i was cruzin around u know the usuall and i get pulled over by the uglyest old bitchy cop ever. she says Do you know y i pulled u over and i said no , shes all like u have a loud muffler( the pipe had broke rite behind the catt. a couple weeks ago. so she tells me to get it fixed and thats all. then a few hours ago the same bitch pulls me over again and says So , how long is this gonna go on for and i said listen up women i dont have time for this crap rite now im in a hurry so she took my leicense and went in her car for 48 min then came out with a warning ticket for the muffler and my licencse plate in my winshield

as for the loudness of exhaust on a vehicle, i believe it's supposed to be something like 90+/-5db at 6ft (maybe 3?) when idling or at 1000rpm. one would want to check for sure before making a big deal out of it.

I think it depends on the cop and how hard of a time they want to give you. A charge like disorderly conduct is rather broad.

Actually you can... Say "Fuck off give me my fucking ticket and let me get the fuck out of here." She will have to give you a ticket and cant do anything about you swearing at her. Now... when you do this make sure your car isnt running and your keys are out of the ignition. I had a friend get a ticket for road rage for flicking a cop off once... and the judge wouldnt throw it out.

Sounds like you deserved it for being a dick.

Everyone bitching about loud exhaust needs to realise, the ticket EVERYONE. Trucks, bikes, imports, etc, not just you. If you keep the rpms low, and don't accelerate too quickly, a cop isn't even going to notice your loud exhaust. You just need to learn how to keep your exhaust quiet when there are cops around. Trust me, I know, I would say I have the loudest exhaust of ANYONE on this site. No tickets here.
