It has a B16 ECU already so id like a B16 if anyone has one or knows of someone with one... im going to need a wiring harness for it too cause the guy tugged the engine out and took that with him... left the ECU though lol.

Ill take a B16A1 or A2
B18A1 or a B18C1... I beleive thats the GSR motor right? I need pretty much everything minus the ECU if its a B16. Ill have motor mounts and shift linkage so I can just drop it in and wire it all up.

Also anyone here done a swap like this, and is interested in helping me out?

Thanks!
Flowcus

Another setup you could try that would get you more HP/TQ and is less common is a CRV-Tec. Its a B20 Shortblock with a GSR Head. It's not possible to run a straight B20 either, due to the long intake manifold, it would pop out of the hood. If you decide to run a CRV-Tec I would recommend that you resleeve it.

CRV-Tec will be faster than ITR(c5) or GSR(c1)

but thats just my .02 cents

Because resleeving is so cheap. You're still stuck with a notoriously weak crank, and if you resleeve it why would you put in stock pistons and rods. There's another 1000 bucks w/ bearings. Then once you do that and you go buy your new oil pump, water pump, timing belt, dowel pins, oil feed for the cylinder head, head gasket, etc you're not very cost effective.

Stick w/ the B16 if you want one that is local, otherwise my vote would be for an LS swap. Once that's finished you can always add a VTEC head later.

Could you give me a list of whats done... or better yet call me 701-371-3468 id like to come check it out. The car is pretty much ready for the swap it has the shift linkage, mounts, ECU, but needs a harness. Im waiting for pics on it before buying it but if I do ill definately work a deal on that engine.

Peace!
As much as I'd like to give the guy some s*** (just kidding) you should probally enquire about his services in your swap. Nick do you know of any good places that we could look for a good price on a long block B16A2/B18 (not a c5) since we are both in the process of looking at CRX's right now and would both maybe enlist in your services.
