Plus it can rev alot higher if you buld the valve train correctly and get it ballanced.  Building a d-series is really cheap.</p>

<p dir="auto">If he were to build up a motor, he'd spend almost as much on the build as a turbo kit for the stock d-series. And, knowing harwood's driving habits, he'd blow a built motor sky high because he'd miss 3-4 gear shifts and go in 2nd <img src="https://fargostreet.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f61b.png?v=40430adaedb" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--stuck_out_tongue" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":p" alt="😛" /> ...thats when all that money that he spent on the motor build went down the drain. But if he goes with a turbo kit, he can blow a motor and go get another stock one for $450 or less rather than building another one...i know that n/a would be better, but turbo would be more easier on the pocketbook in the long run (with harwood's ways heh)...that and bov's RULE! hehe</p>
<p dir="auto">seriously though, if it were me, i'd go turbo just because i' have the "comfort" of knowing that if a motor decides to let go for some reason all i have to do is go find another stock one for cheap...peace</p>
