<![CDATA[Dual 12 inch sub box wanted]]>I need a sub box for two twelve inch subs. Preferrably ported with 2.25-2.75 cubic feet per sub. Will consider sealed boxes with 1.5-2 cubic feet per sub as well. Cash or trade for sealed triple twelve inch box in mint condition.

If my measurements are correct a box that is 14 inches x 18 inches x 38 inches (externally) is 4.925 cubic feet. this is the volume of the outside of the box, not including the thickness of the mdf. So, at a guess, the internal volume of the box is 4.5....Divide that by 2(2 subs)=2.25 internal cubic feet per sub....right in the recommended range for ported box using the subs I have.

I'm gonna rip out my box tonight to measure the trunk. I think 38 inches will be too wide though. The box I have now is about 32-34 inches wide at barely fits.

the ports are 12in. deep x 4in wide.

Yup, I've used both. Had a ported enclosure for 4 years. I've had a sealed box since December and found that I prefer ported enclosures.
