It had idle surge before when it was cold but would settle down after warming up.  Now it will have idle surge when warm or just die.  It will idle but after starting it up a couple of times.</p>
<p dir="auto">I can still drive the car and everything above idle is just fine.  I think it is just the ECU on it's way to the junkyard in the sky.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am not sure if this had a part of this maybe it did.  I was running open downpipe the last few days but re-attached the exhaust and this started to happen.</p>

I disconnected the battery for 30 mins so I have to wait a few days to see where the idle is going to be at.</p>

<p dir="auto">take out battery and remove 2 8mm head bolts holding IAC on. When you unplug wire it the IAC progs will look like this:</p>
<p dir="auto">1  2  3</p>
<p dir="auto">4  5  6</p>
<p dir="auto">test 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6</p>
<p dir="auto">and it should read 28-33 ohms</p>

Take the IAC out (usually red part under throttle body) and test it I think it is supposed to read like 20 someting ohms between the little progs in there. Mine had 0 ohms on one gap and that told me right away it was bad.  I am guessing yours finally took a crap when it was at really low idle and is stuck there.</p>

I disconnected my battery for 5 mins and hooked it back up to try an remedy the situation.  I think it will just go back to normal now.</p>

The Idle Air Control Valve is messed up. Accords and I've heard Eclipses are bad for that. It'll cost ya about $250-300 to replace it.</p>
