I'm looking to go 35-50%, anyone actually getting hassled for theirs?

Actually the law says that you can have the front windows tinted up to 50% and the rear whatever you want. But you most definitely can't have the front windshield tinted. Where did you hear that you can have the windshield tinted? Go to the north dakota state patrol website and find out.

Read my post again, thats exactly what I said.

And yes you can have the front windshield tinted from the top down until the AS-1 mark, its uusaly only 3-4" down.

Remember in order to stay legal on the front windows you will need 70% tint.

The current law is that you can have teh rear windows tinted as dark as you want (paint them black if you want) as long as you have side view mirrors.

The front windshield can be tinted down to the AS-1 mark as dark as you want.
The front side windows must have a light transmittance of 50%. This meaning you can apply about 60-70% tint to them to stay legal since most windows are factory tinted to 80-90% light transmittance.

Got a ticket down in the cities for it. $120 ticket and considered a moving violation in Minnesota. I was told by the cop that wrote it that it was an equipment violation but it went on my record as a moving. Just be carefull about it because its just another reason for them to pull you over and they will ticket you for it if they dont have another reason to give one out.
