THe car NOW runs beautifully (on its 3rd engine) and I just bought a set of black leather seats (original color was dark gray). Car has 138K on it, good shape, repainted electric blue (similar to new 350Z bright blue) a while back., did a good job, door jambs painted and overall nice.

has tight suspension, brakes good, runs good. New starter, clutch, tune up stuff. recently changed coolant, transmission oil, engine oil, powersteering fluid yadda yadda yadda.....

Top is in decent shape, no rips that Ive noticed. body has 2 small spots of bubbling paint on rear wheel arch. Probably needs tires.

Car DOES have a dual 2.5in cat back exhaust with recently replaced cats. sounds NICE, deep rich tone. cant remember the name of the exhaust, but I seem to recall it was one of the more popular aftermarket rotary brands.

The car still books for $3450 according to NAPA.com, Im asking $3250. Shoot me an Email or give me a call.

602 373 1046. Yes, I still havent changed over my phone number from Phoenix yet. THeres no damn T-mobile stores up here! lol

I bought the car with a blown engine (#1), I bought an engine off of Ebay and had it shipped during the winter to install in spring, THAT engine (#2) ended up being bad as well, low compression on the back rotor. I bought a running parts car specifically for the engine and installed that engine (#3) in the car last summer. I put it in, I am a competent mechanic, I have rebuilt engines, ported heads, done engine swaps (RB20DET into S13 hatch) and what not. It runs fine now, I just dont like it anymore, lol! I have decided to stick to my Z cars.

If it were a auto, I would consider making a offer, but I don't need anymore 5speed cars.

Its funny I deal in fiero's and there blue book price is completly off, like my 87 Gt books for $1500 but I can get $5000 for it, and it seems those RX7s are the opposite, don't know what to tell you, but they don't seem to be popular cars in this area.

I mean the asking price is below NADA book, not even blue book, and its really just a starting price for negotiations.....

I know the converts are hard to find cars. My last RX-7 convert I owned was a 89 with 60K and I paid around 2 grand for it in the twin cities. Unfortunatly it met its demise last fall in a accident, thats when I noticed yours.

Well good luck selling it, I don't think it will go locally though. When I try to sell RX-7's, I always end up damn near giving it away. It really sucks, not a very desirable car in this area. The most money I ever got out of one is the one that got totaled.

I should have known beter than to try and sell a convetible in late august/early september. This year I think my timing is right (its 90 degrees and its going to be a hot summer) and I dont need the cash that bad, lol!
