A friend of mine blew the engine on his 95 Talon esi and most estimates he's gettin are coming out $3500-$4000 and thats probably what the car will be worth. Anybody know of any cheaper places? Thanks.

did i mention that i can't read? after reading the latests posts, if i were this guy... i'd send the head off to get rebuilt by a reputable "speed shop." if he just wants it to be stock... then take it to one of the local shops and have them nurse it back into shape

420a's are identical from avengers, sebrings, all non turbo eclipses; they are mounted backwards on 95-99 neons.

420a's are cheap as hell... no way should it be upwards of 3500+....

unless your friend gets titanium rods and custom pistons, crankshaft, etc... i don't see it costing more than 1500 tops
