Mines at 4400, i hear its at 5200 and it kicks in at 5200 at half throttle. do you think anything is wrong with my car?</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes, honda vtec kicks in at least 3/4 throttle.  The US RSX kicks in at 5800 rpm and redlines at 8200 rpm.  Now, the JDM version kicks in at 5200 rpm and redlines at 8600 rpm.  Only difference for these is the computer, it needs to be reflashed to Hondata #4 otherwise you need a JDM computer and engine.</p>
