second question: my cd player will not open. it has a tilt action also and that won't work either. there is nothing in the way of it or anything it just refuses to open. when i push the eject button it says opening on the screen and the music quits playing, but then it just starts playing the music again like nothing happend. does anyone know what could be causing this? if it helps its a alpine cd/mp3 player.

Yes, this^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hondas use a maint req light to remind the user that it is time to change the oil. Dependant on the vehicle, it usually comes on every 7500 miles, which is hondas oil change service interval. On the integra, newer ones like yours, there is a small square button on the bottom of your dash that you need to hold down to reset it. just get upside down and use a flash light, itll be right in front of your face.

The indiator will go from green to amber and then to red (red meaning your way past scheduled maintenance). But I have no idea how to reset the inticator in integra's. All it took for me was my key...just like resetting the trip.
