If not, that is probably your problem. It shouldn't need to boot dos drivers to get your CD drive to work, if its recognized in CMOS it should be able to boot winxp.

We are doing it like the computer was set up before, it had 98 on it, than once booted, we did the xp clean install. the problem is that the computer wont boot to even install xp, but will boot to install 98.

The moniters are for my room and my bros room, we have like 4 computers and 2 moniters.
