I don't know about the 95 but I would suspect it isn't a whole lot better.

This the one of the few aftermarket parts I'm glad that they never made for my cars.

If you are looking for a different look check out eBay for 96-97 taillights. They have black surrounds. You can also paint the surrounds on your 95' taillights to match your car. I have attached a picture of my 96 so you can see what the taillights look like.
