The stuff from around 2000 was kinda hit and miss quality wise...I think they had like a 70% failure rate going for a while. Now that DEI owns them I hear their product has gotten significantly better again. Same w/ Orion.

Did you purchase them back when Audio Zone was still in business in Moorhead or were they newer than that? If they are the older ones, let me know, I might be interested. (I'm a sucker for older PPI/Phoenix Gold stuff...really can't stand many of the new amps on the market...too many gadgets attached to them....)
