probably because they are near impossible to get to the united states from japan and legalize them per the federal gov't. basically the older one from canada is the only option. settle down mister negative.........

Not the same laws as importing it from Japan.....

I think the only rule it has to be 15 years old to import to Canada and then get a VIN associated with it.
