I got polycarbonate which is a little more expensive but very tough. You can get regular plexi cheaper, but it will scratch easier and will break easier, especially when it's cold out.

And for what it's worth Mustangs Plus has them for 65-68 mustangs. And they are lexan.

Unless your looking @ building a drag car, this isn't legal for street use. If you do do so you will need to run a channel vertically down the center to support the lexan as well. All in all not practical for a street car.

Windshields are made to break when your face hits them, plexi won't let that happen, therefore you will die. Same reason why you won't find lexan windshields.
