<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Gsx To Gtp]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">there is no longer two red eclipses with brian as the driver running around the fargo moorhead area. i recently sold my 97 gsx and ended up shopping around for awhile and found a decent 98 Grand Prix GTP for about half the cost of my eclipse and insurance is better too.  im actually impressed with the power the GTP has and i was wondering if anyone has some mod suggestions. i still have my 18 inch enkeis(not sure if they fit but i need a new tire) so i might see what those look like. the car has 111xxx miles so its up there alittle bit but i know the people who have owned it and they really took care of it.  anyway i know there is some smaller pulleys out there that claim to as anyware from 30 to 50 horse(sugg supporting mods ex headers intercooler etc for the smallest pulley).  any idea what these do for reliablility? also anything to watch out for with these cars at this milage i just had it serviced and came back good and something in the supercharger (almost put turbo...sad..miss the GSX) was replaced right before i bought it that i guess needs replacing at that milage. im also looking for a nice soundsing exhuast....if one exists. so give me some ideas</p>

tis what i really want. either to transplant into my cutlass or a GP or Regal with it for a powerplant.<br />
as was mentioned <a href="www.clubgp.com">www.clubgp.com</a> is about the biggest resource, but be warned they can be viscious over their if you come in clueless. so use the search function.<br />
zoomer recently took his GP under 10 seconds. the first one to do so. before i get in over my head here i will link.<br />

]]></description><link>https://fargostreet.com/post/77669</link><guid isPermaLink="true">https://fargostreet.com/post/77669</guid><dc:creator><![CDATA[camzaro28]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Sat, 29 Oct 2005 14:38:00 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Reply to Gsx To Gtp on Sat, 29 Oct 2005 13:41:11 GMT]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">borla is prolly the best sounding exhaust for w-bodies IMO...there used to be another good brand that has since disappeared as far as i know...first of all i would suggest getting the reprogrammed PCM and a ubend replacement a long with exhuast...get the motor opened up a bit more before you start throwing pulleys on there...the tranny is maxed out torquewise from the factory so if you race it a lot it WILL break...good news is that its easy to buy an upgraded one with an LSD(without an LSD the trannies obviously break easier)...the motors are very reliable and i believe stock motors have been in the 11s or better...the tranny is the hardest part to keep alive...a 3.0'' pulley is about the smallest i would go without the I/H/E thing...the aftercooler is expensive but i believe it is highly recommended after like a 2.9'' pulley...but if you really wanna go fast id ditch the stock S/C and go with an M112 or a centrifugal S/C....and plus lots of people are getting GREAT results out of the new turbo kit...i can post more later if needed</p>

<p dir="auto">been i while but i did a tone of research on that motor 2 years ago as i was going to do a l67 swap into my 95 grand prix and while i was at it do a lot of mods. i had a list of them and what they were suppost to make ect and everything then sold the car a deleted it. but look on clubgp. and sometime just surf cardomain and look at what others have done</p>
