<![CDATA[opinions on indash dvd receiver]]>I'm looking for opinions on an indash dvd receiver.I will be using it with a microvision 7" screen that will be mounted flush in my dash like this http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/1/web/217000-217999/217308_15.jpg

Anybody have any opinions on a decent unit?

The problem he would have is that it would cover up the existing monitor. The Maxima has a Double Din above a single. Look at his link.

I say go with a hidden Dvd player and just use a aux.

Yes it's the microvision screen from the gb on maxima.org My only problem is i want something very clean and simple.

I want the receiver to be able to play dvd's, cd's,radio etc all in the same unit. I don't want a screen in the same unit since i think it looks tacky and don't want a seperate dvd palyer in a glove box or under a seat.

I want $1000 for it with a pioneer ad on XM tuner. Its complete, 9 months old and one of the nicest head units I have ever owned, but I rarly ever used it.

Same goes for the other brands mentioned. All are good and its going to come down to cosmetics and features that you want.
