<![CDATA[wiring]]>ok if any of you guys know about wiring for fords or probes maybe you could help me here. I just replaced the whole front harness cause a shop in town that I had work on my car melted every wire in it for me. but anyhow, I spiced in the whole harness all the lights work, (highbeam, lowbeams, headlamp doors, and clearance) but there were 4 red wires with a black line on them that we never could figure out what they are for. they just go in a loop, they don't have any voltage running threw them. and everything still works the same whether they are hooked up or not.

so does anyone know what they might be for? they are factory wires.

oh yeah, and the shop manual says nothing about them.

I just checked Alldata for you. I have it here at home.They are spare wires for external lighting. They carry a 12v signal whenever your power up your parking lights.

I can't be certain where those wires go, but I suspect they are for the headlamp checker.
