My front bumper would have fit w/o mod had I not had a huge FMIC, my sideskirts don't fit real well (which reminds me, I need to talk to caleb about that) and my rear bumper bolted right on, all that was needed there was to rivet the mounting hardware to the new bumper shell. As it was, my front bumper was a pain in the ass because of the FMIC, we literally had to cut little triangles out of the lower front bumper between the IC and the foglights to get it on far enough....then we had to fill the holes....not fun.

But you and I both know that NO body kit can just be "bolted up". So I think the wording should be. Body kits in general don't NECESSARY fit (MOUNT UP/Align with the holes) for shit either.... You cant just single out one. Your taking my words to literally here, come on now. So there is no confusion. Caleb said it fit very well and without much trouble. I bet if I asked him he would say it required the normal amount of work to “fit” a body kit. Now with that said I don’t wanna sound like I am on a head hunt here but this thread was mentioned to me today in conversation so I thought I would check it out. Someone’s opinion is just that, their opinion. I just found it odd that Bomex was picked out for not fitting well, and having pieces from them I know that is not the case. One more thing, was the red caps necessary? Lil overboard…

Nope, I've said it in person, i'll say it on here, and if you ask anyone that I hang out with they'll tell you that I really like your car. However, unlike when in person, if I say something I may get asked to clarify what I mean right away whereas on here everyone reads what I have said and I may not have come across as clearly as I would have liked to have so people get the impression that I'm talking shit about their car.

I'm not disputing it was one of the best fitting he ever put on, he just had a bit of work to get it to mount right (fit was probably the wrong word to use in hindsight). From what he told me, he needed to extend the lip on the bumper enough to have a hole to line up with the mounting points on the body. I never said your car didn't look good, just that it took a bit to get it to mount up right (which is what I was trying to get at since the OP said that his holes weren't right or something to that affect.) As for the Cavy, it started with a Replica Bomex kit that fit like ass (especially in the rear) but it currently has a true Bomex Kit on it and while the rear fit much better it still wasn't perfect and I think Caleb even said the replica front fit better than the real one that he got.

I went back and edited what I wrote so that it will be easier to understand what I meant.

Bomex is not expensive by any means, for the quality it is a hell of a deal. List price for my kit is $1245.00 for the full kit. Now for a C-West for my car its $2,000. EVERY bodykit requires "fitting" just some more than others. Sorry i am kinda goin off the deep end cuz Chuck you where there and fitment was never a problem.
I didn't see yours go on, so I can't comment there. The three bomex kits I did see (including scherlings) took a LOT of work to get them to fit right. I watched caleb spend many an hour building up the fiberglass to get a mounting point put on.

Your kit does look good on your car, I didn't see what was required to get it there so I cannot comment. What I was getting at is that most kits (even expensive ones) fit like crap w/o some modifications. Of course, there are always exceptions to any rule on this.

Also i dont see anything wrong with scotts kit. His car is really nice and he hasnt over done anything on it. For having a kit on it and what not i would say its a pretty damn clean car.
