<![CDATA[Busted Z!!]]>Like I was saying in the "not an ordinary ricer" thread by T!n, My friend has just recently purchased a '02 or '03(cant remember) Nissan 350Z. He and his dad are in the process of ripping it apart and diagnosing the problem areas. Like 9 months ago he bought a 01 cougar XR(op whatever the nice one is) busted and fixed it up. Sld it for 11,100 and used that money to purchase the Z. The Cougar turned out very nice and i'm anxiously awaiting the next project to be complete. Except for the fact that he said that he's told numerous people he plans on driving it longer than the cougar but plans on selling it, taking only 2000 off the blue book value, and buying a porsche to fix up. He said his goal is to have a porsche before he graduates, so it is for the resale as well from the way he's talking, although he changes his mind a lot.

True. Since this is a BASE model Z, nothing is special about it, he'll be lucky to be able to get rid of it for 20k. My brother got his 03 BASE version for 26k with only 50 test miles on it when it came out. He should use this car as a project rather than resale.
