<![CDATA[WTB: wire to relocate battery]]>I'm looking for around 15 ft of 2 gauge red flexible power wire. I've noticed shipping for 20 or 25 feet of this from eBay is around or over $15, so I don't want to buy it from an auction. I'm hoping someone has some wire they want to get rid of, or to find out a good source to buy some from a local store. I don't give a shit if it's red, orange, yellow, purple, or whatever, I just don't want to pay over $1/foot. Thanks.

I have some 4 guage cable in the garage that I bought at Praxair a couple of years ago. I don't know how long the chunk is, as I used some of it to make grounding cables. Anything bigger is a waste of $$ if you ask me. Pin, 4ga is more than adequate for your needs. remember that your oe cable is the coarse strand stuff and thats no good for much more than 5ft on most situations but the finer strand stuff is far superior at carrying current and holding up with the draw hence thats why 4ga has just become the norm for the average battery relocation. And it's hella cheap to get locally. Just an opinion/advice.

go to a welding shop the wire has better strand count and better sheild/coating. Plus i is like 1/8 the price

Every Local Audio Store has wire, just go in and ask how much they want per foot.

You could probably go to - Site on Sound, The Glass Garage, Paradise Audio, ect....

I could be wrong and barry may have posted on here trying to find the most out over priced wire in town and hope someone would sell it to him for 5 times what they paid. alittle logic guys.
