<![CDATA[Fargostreet upgrades.]]>Just catering to the idea of a setup such as northern animations site, where people must register and introduce themselves before using the site. It would reduce the amount of people whoring the site with one post bashing.

Any Ideas?

First off the idea was to cut down on lurkers. But as someone said some people come in and just "post cuz they have too so they can see the rest of the forum" which is really pointless in all honesty, so maybe the manditory intros back fired on me. HAHAHA

Also NA was never about making money it was just a place for car guys and gals together and swap stories, set up races, share pics, etc etc. I would have liked to get some of my costs back but in the end I dont care about that I got to much other shit going on and Jeff doesnt seem to mind hosting us for free so its all good.

Really, what does the intro requirement actually do? The people who want to just lurk are going to just post something like "Just posting because I have to." If someone is actually into cars, 9 times out of 10 they will post an intro with what they drive, mods, plans, etc.

In fact, it's alot more calm than in previous dramatic times on FS. That may be due to the maturity level of the people that are being harassed in the recent forums and them not giving in to the temptaion to respond to the posts and letting it blow out of proportion. It has been pretty tame IMHO.
