<![CDATA[Cash Reward! HELP!]]>Well someone hit my truck tonight and then just took off, good old hit and run. So I'm offering a minimum of $100 cash money, to whoever comes up with good info to get this person convicted. And yes I did say a minimum of $100, so it could be more too. So here's some of the details. I was at the Nickelback concert and it got over right around 11:00. I drove over to my girlfriend's apartment which is right by the corner of Dakota Drive and 15th St. N, so just a few blocks from the college. The truck was sitting on the south side of the street. Well I was only there for about an hour, which was actually from about 11:30PM to 12:30AM, and I went out to leave, and noticed there was something wrong, just the way the truck looked and it wasn't even in the exact same spot as where I parked it, it was pushed back at least 5 ft! So I checked it out, and sure as hell, someone fucking hit it and took off. They hit it HARD on the front driver's corner, hard enough to move the truck and push the bumper back to the tire. The damage will have to be assessed by a body shop of course. I called the cops and reported it and they came and looked and did their thing, and they were really cool and nice about it, and the guy even said that there's a really good chance we'll never catch this person, which is understandable. So from my own investigating, the vehicle came from the east on Dakota Dr. and was obviously going pretty fast while traveling west, they slid and probably even spun around by looking at the skid marks, and then hit the truck. The tracks turned and went back to the west just like they were heading before, and I could sort of see the tire tracks in the snow and ice. They looked a lot like a truck or suv tire. They had a bigger block pattern. Also I found shattered glass all over the hood of my truck from the other vehicle. The police and I agreed that whoever was in that car was probably in a lot of pain after this accident. So once again, if you can give me info or a name that leads to the culprit being taken down and convicted, you will be getting a cash reward. If I find the person before the police does, then things could get ugly, because this shit is serious to me.

HELP! on Sat, 04 Feb 2006 00:12:39 GMT]]>Well Progressive sent their adjuster out to look at the truck today, and so far they came up with about $4100 worth of damage, just by looking, and that's not including anything that needs to be fixed after the bumper and fender are off. At this point I wish the truck was totaled and I would just get paid for it and have it go away. I don't even want a truck that has been previously damaged. Regardless of what happens, I'm going to sell it after it's fixed.

It was a 2 way radio of some sort. It was black, and long and skinny and kind of tubular shaped. This probably sounds retarded, but I'm just trying to have as much evidence as possible. I might have a couple of ideas of who it is. Know of a couple of lifted trucks with similar tires, old chevy pickups, with asshole drivers who drive drunk, thatare around NDSU a lot. If I notice one of their trucks is banged up or the windows are smashed, I will let you know.
