<![CDATA[Need your DSM expertise]]>Got John's GSX running, and it dosen't seem to have mechanical problems, but it does run funny. Seems like its running way too rich and the exhaust it thick and stinks like gas. Also it backfires a little. Does the cam sensor get the wrong reading if its 180* off, kinda like a V8 distribuor when you put it in 180 off?

But other wise I got it all connected correctly and running but needs tuning, and I don't have enough knowledge to figure it out.

it revs all the way to 7k without too much popping from what i remember yes.

CAS works both ways. Check for boost leaks, timing belt alignment, and firing order.
