all i got to say is GM.
my 90 cutlass supreme 3.1 i have to rock the motor forward to work on the back of the motor at all. plugs, wires, O2....alt is fine though.
as compared to the alt on the 3.4 DOHC engines where you have to dig way under the motor for that shit.
and then to top it off you are pretty stuck with what you can do to them to make them bigger or badder. i mean jeez if i was getting more from all that work it would be fine, but i am not.

I can't remember exactly how I got it out now, but usually for bolts like that I use the craftsman sockets with the swivel built into it, because it provides for extra clearence than using a regular socket and a swivel. Or I just lop off a chunk of a extra wrench to make it work.

Stubby wrench sounds like the way to go. I don't have one, but i'm sure I could get one.

If that doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to try lowering the engine a little too.

I have no idea how I'm going to get my hand up in there, lol.
