Some of you have probably been slightly revved upon by me as well.

Yep...that's it.

94 Thunderbird LX 4.6L (281ci SOHC)
Mufflers were victim of a tragic abduction, taken violently at hacksaw-point. Dyno tuned by the guy that knows everything about late model fords. And the rims came from a 96 Sport Tbird for what it's worth...

Have plans, don't have money.
Suspension rebuild/modification is on the top of the list...
ADDCO 1 3/8" front and rear sway bars
Eibach 1.5" drop springs
Koni Sport Adjustable shocks
Poly bushings throughout
New LCA/UCAs most likely

And then Paint....

from there the list only grows.

Maybe you should go with a 97 tbird. Those have lots of "bolt-on" parts that you could get for not too much money. That would be a better engine to start stock from than the 94 4.6L. FYI

let me guess, you were taking down what I was saying while playing GT3 sitting on your couch tonight so you could post it here?

not necessarily bolt-ons, but later model OEM parts (99-04) will slide into/onto a 96-98 4.6L easier than a 94-95 as the top end of the engine is quite different.
OEM parts alone, roughly $250 worth, could net a guy 25RWHP with a good tune.

Probably a better modification would be a late model "PI" 4.6L intake on the NPI motor. The ports don't match up by they have proven to increase the length of the powerband and provide up to 15hp. Quick $200 mod.

Headers = expensive! (looking at $650-ish for coated Kooks Mid Length headers)....add in a good mandrel bent exhaust and some magnaflow mufflers and probably a pair of high flow cats

Nitrous is just a ticking time bomb. Wouldn't run over a 75 shot...and that just wouldn't be worth it....I'm saving the nitrous for the other car anyway

and yeah, $200 for hacking off the mufflers is a little steep. Hell, my $70 for bent tube and welding it back together was too damn much.

(atleast 2 people already think I should leave... ....oh well.)

if i was you, i'd save up for headers, and then a bottle of nitrous. becuase everything else for the 4.6 costs mucho dinero. but you probably know that.

btw, i also had my muffs cut off. but i was still in HS i think and i totally got ripped off. the shop that did it charged me 200 bucks. lol. what a waste of money! maybe part of that went into the chrome pea-shooters i got welded on!
