There is a small tribe with about 450 people and 105 homes down there.
They had a contract about 1 1/2 years ago with another contractor to do a remodel project on 15 homes. They pretty much threw them off the job. ( I do not blame them).
They got a hold of us and wanted to know if we would come down and take over, as mangement and training. We deal with suppliers and get the materials in, (by helicopter) and are training the locals on how to do their own stuff. The job originally was to be completed in 4 months, I am still here.... They need so much help I think I could stay here full time.
It is really isolated, as some of them have never been out of the Canyon. After two weeks I am ready to take a break (canyon fever).
