Matt was getting horrible fuel cut in the DSM. The oh so reliable DSM boost gauge was telling him that he was getting fuel cut at only 7 psi so, we swapped in an aftermarket boost gauge and first gear spiked to 20 psi then held steady at 18 then in second gear the boost gauge ran all the way to 25 psi which is where he started getting fuel cut. According to the OEM gauge he was at 7 psi when this happened. And now we have the answer of bad wastegate. He is getting a new one to run the factory boost level (whatever the hell it is...I've heard 6 9 and 12) which is what he wants.

The whole thread is filled with sarcasm and it appears that not too many people are catching it.

wastegate won't get you more fuel. Any idea what kind of AFR numbers you are running? Besides, 25psi on a stock turbo probably is a stupid idea, at some point all turbos run out of efficiency and just become huge heat pumps (this isn't a good thing) I dunno what the magic number is for DSM's, but I'm guessing 25psi is across that line.
