For those in favor of Kerry-Edwards think about this:

The only thing that Kerry knows about going to war is how to abandon those who were in the Swift Boats in Vietnam.

Kerry wants to raise taxes which mean you bring home less money and pay more in taxes, where Bush wants to lower taxes so that you bring more money home, and there for you can reinvest you money to help the economy improve.

Kerry is anti-guns. He wants to sign a treaty with the U.N. in 2006 to disarm the world, which means nobody will have guns, this means no hunting, and no guns for protection against criminals.

Kerry is endorsed by the American Communist Party, but he says that he wants to give the people more rights. Communism means everyone is equal, so he is "flip-flopping again."

When looking for the right president for our country you need to think that why in the Presidental debates did Kerry say the opposite of many of his issues in his "Presidental Plan."

And also why should people who make over $200,000 a year be taxed more. They try to get a head in life by getting an education and being successful but then they are supposed to pay more in taxes.

Also the top 3% of income in our country pays 85% of the taxes.

Do some research and THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE!
Ok, I at least got this hijacking out of the "A Poll" thread.....I numbered them to make it easier to follow along.

Hmm...he went to vietnam, got wounded three times, the only one contested in the one from the swiftboaters....yet his swiftboat was out of commission for a month being repaired before it could be readmitted into the field of combat. 9 out of 10 people on his boat swear by what he said, and the other didn't agree or disagree w/ him. Everything beyond that is speculation...from both sides. I don't know what was going on there, I wasn't there, you weren't there...I tend to listen to the guys that were on his boat with him.

I'm not so sure Kerry wants to raise taxes as it is an inevitable result of Bush's LIBERAL spending. The $300 tax cuts were more of a tax deferment than anything (Speaking of deferments, how many did Cheney get to avoid going to Nam?) I'd rather pay the cost now, with taxpayer money rather than borrow from COMMUNIST countries such as China ($160 Billion already).

Kinda trying to predict the future for a bill that doesn't even exist yet, aren't you? Besides, Field & Stream endorsed BOTH candidates views on guns and gun ownership as both are hunters and fishermen. Get your facts straight before you try spreading bullshit.

Wait a second, just because they endorse HIM, doesn't mean that HE endorses THEM. There's a big difference there. I endorse Kerry, and I know damn well he wouldn't endorse all of my ideas. I'm for privatized SS, hell, I've even laid down MY plan on how to make it work on this website. I'm sure he wouldn't endorse that. Doesn't mean I can't endorse him though, does it? No flip-flopping, nice try though.

Give me an example before throwing such a broad statement out there please. Thats like saying "George Bush will never win the war on terror, just because."

Under his plan CORPORATE tax rates will go down 5%, http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/tax_reform.pdf the link shows kerry's tax plan. Part of the reasoning behind taxing the "rich" higher rates(and I personally don't agree with it 100%...) is because people with larger incomes tend be able to shelter their taxes through various loopholes in the system. They tend to have higher write-offs on taxes, are able to make larger charitable contributions (again, a write off). Many people have a net worth much higher than what their earnings are (I'm a prime example of that). I'd rather see a flat tax in all honesty. Lets face it though, taxes will need to go up IF we want to balance the budget. There's no way around that. Bush's spending has put us trillions of dollars in debt...and he had a 5 trillion surplus to begin with when he took office. He is spending faster than any Liberal has ever dreamed. I don't recall a lot of complaining from anyone during the Clinton administration when we had surpluses and jobs were readily available. Yes, the stock market was in a correction (a natural and necessary process) when he left office. It needed to correct itself. The only complaint I had w/ taxes was the marriage penalty. The child credit increase was a good idea too IMHO, as it gave more money to families that needed it. http://www.factcheck.org/article286.html has more info on that....that is the website that Cheney MEANT to give out in his debate (he said factcheck.com)

Quote your source of that information.

Think before you post, you should know by now that I can dispute most anything the Bushies can toss out there.

It's easy to find reasons to vote against someone, if all I listened to was the negative ads I wouldn't bother voting because either way it sounds like the world will end if either of them get into office... we all know that isn't going to happen. So someone, anyone, give me 47 positive reasons to vote for Bush and to play by ethan's rules it can't be "Bush didn't do this" in regards to what Kerry has done.
