Anybody have any non AWD dsm's or cheap AWD dsm's w/ 5speeds or any other type of 5speed FWD/AWD/4x4 vehicle for reasonably cheap, around $1500.</p>

<p dir="auto">better motor than the 5.0 and more efficient than the 5.8.  Only thing to watch is the 5spd.  Guess they can have some issues if not maintained.</p>
<p dir="auto">Worst part about that generation F150, like I said before, is finding a solid body.  But, find one 'solid enough' and it'd probalby be a good truck.  (I nearly had a F250 300I6/HD ZF 5spd but it acted up on the test drive a bit then wouldn't start when I went to buy it)</p>

Those 300 I6 motors are supposed to be nearly indestructible.  I tried to find one 3 years ago but could never find a 300-6/5spd truck that was clean enough for my standards.</p>
