<![CDATA[Vigor-1, Cobra-0]]>Ahh, Long day at the BK. It was around 8:55 and I was ready to pull my hair out waiting to get off work. Finally, my manager gets done counting tills and tells me to go home. Grabbing a Rodeo CB out on my way out the door, I hear a LOUD wierdly pitched low grumble. I look out on University. A brand new GTO and a newr Cobra were lined up at the stoplight right outside of Taco Bell. I sit watching waiting for them to go at it. Sure enough the GTO took off and the cobra, getting a little bit of a bad start, smokes the tires and lays out the "goat". I,wanting to see the two cars a little better, take off pretty quick and follow them onto the Interstate back to Moorhead. The GTO keeps going past 8th St. where I wanted to get off but the Stang turns off the same direction on 8th as I needed to go. Being my usual stupid self, I pull a Scherling-style Ricer lby and flip on the hazards(just to be a dick). The only reason he coudn't stop me from passing is because there was a minivan in front of him. I pull back into the right lane not thinking much of it, and turn my hazards off. The light turns yellow an as I'm slowing down I notice that the left lane is wide open next to me. "oh god, here comes a beat down" I thought to my self. Sure enough, the Cobra pulls next to me. The tintwas fairly dark and the street wasnt very well-lit. He revs it up to a good 5 grand a few times and then pauses, almost inviting me to give it back to him. Even with his stock exhaust, it was still vibrating my car. I can't turn down a race, right? so sure enough, I let it bounce off the rev limiter a couple of times around 8500. I notice everyone going the opposite way as us started to slow down and the light turned yellow. Waiting for my light to change, I get a little shiver, waiting to see the tail lights and read the Cobra bumper instantly. The light turns Green and everything slows down. I let my right foot drop and pull my slowly into my seat. I look left, expecting to see dust the minivan passing me, but I don't see anything! I look forward and nothing again. I look back, thinking maybe he had turned off or something and sure enough he was just taking off from the light. I couldnt figure out what was going on. He wanted to race, and it was a cobra, how did I win? I stop at Casey's General store over by my house on the way home, to rab some skittles, and I see two pretty cute teenage girls. Had to be 16 or 17 walk into the store. I go back out to my car after paying for my skittles, and see the cobra at the pump filling up, with no one in it and no one outside of it, and no one else in the parking lot or store besides the girls. Then it all came together and started making sense. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I hear the girl riding in the passenger seat say "Damn I wish my dad let me borrow his BMW" and then the girl driving said something like "Yeah, But if my dad finds out I stalled his car trying to race, he'd probably kill me. Even worse than that, he'll be mad I lost!" -Sorry this story wasted your time, but i had nothig better to do.
