<![CDATA[Interstate Dragway 9/3/06 2jz Probe]]>Just a quick update on our progress today. Thanks to Daveh for the relentless help with the car, and making sure the hood pins are now latched. 🙂

The goal today was to get my NHRA license so I can run 9.99 and faster. It's good for 7.50. I made a total of 6 passes for the license, and last pass of the day sprayed the 75 shot through first. I had to run one half pass,3 moderate passes and two full passes.

1st pass: 10.70@98.11 Half pass- 20psi 1.42 60ft
2nd pass: 9.65@130 Mod pass let off at 990. 1.36 60ft
3rd pass: 9.86@123 24psi Mod pass let off at 990 1.38 60ft
4th pass: 9.54@134 28psi Mod pass let off at 990 1.37 60ft
5th pass: 9.34@147mph 31psi Full pass 1.34 60ft
6th pass: 9.34@147mph same Full pass 1.31 60ft

7th pass:9.15@148mph 32psi 75 shot spraying through first gear- 1.29 60ft!!

We are still only running 12.5 degrees of timing on that last pass, so there is more to go.
So I got my best 60ft,trap and ET and NHRA license on same day. 🙂
